Students are taught through Biblical scriptures that prayer is the main weapon of spiritual warfare.  They are shown various ways in how to pray in any life situation. 

A Prayer Warrior has many quivers in their basket. This class will sharpen your focus and understanding of the Power of Prayer and clearly give you the confidence as a Prayer Warrior in God’s Army.

When we examine the population of the Christian Church overall: we, unfortunately, find that the male population is significantly less than its female counterparts, and that should not be so. The MENtality class is where men are brought together to discuss any and all topics and understand what God and the Bible teach about those topics. We as men are not to be conformed to this culture of society and lured to its promises, but be transformed by the masculine mandate.  We are to prove spiritually, provide morally, and protect physically so that we may demonstrate that which is the perfect will of God in Biblical Manhood.

At the City of Restoration Ministries, we believe in and aspire to the loving outreach of God to the world. 

Being located in the heart of South Yonkers we recognize and understand the socio-economic burdens of our community. Our outreach ministry consists of a monthly giveaway of nonperishable foods and toiletries to anyone in the neighborhood that is in need. Secondly, we conduct “Coat Drives”.  We collect new to slightly used coats and give them away to the community. School supplies and Backpacks are also distributed to assist student’s return to school every September.  

This Ministry also includes Christmas Toy Drives and “Free Clothing GiveAways”. Here, clothes and shoes for all members of the family are donated.  It is open to the public to enjoy a one-day shopping spree. The outreach ministry visits the sick and shut-in and ministered to local nursing homes and hospital patients.

Psalm 150 states … “ Praise Him with the dance… Let everything that has breath praise the Lord!” 

Some preach, teach and sing to spread the message of the Bible. Others use a different gift that requires no words from them, but the use of their limbs.

God’s Word in Motion Ministry is available to any member who feels the joy of the Lord on the inside and would love to express that joy on the outside. 

This Ministry consists of praise dancing, mime, and our unique praising hands ministry. These anointed men, women, and youth are able to put movement and expression to The Word of God that brings both joys and increased understanding to the viewer.
