This August, City of Restoration Ministries hosted our 3rd Annual Back-to-School Supply Drive on August 24th, blessing the Yonkers community with 80 backpacks filled with school essentials.

We set up tables right outside the church, creating a joyful, welcoming space where young people could come, choose a backpack, and walk down the line to fill it with supplies — paper, pens, binders, markers, rulers, erasers, sharpeners, and more. Each bag represented more than just school materials; it was a reminder that our youth are seen, valued, and supported as they head into a new year of learning.

This effort reflects our mission to meet both the spiritual and practical needs of our community. The smiles of the children and gratitude of parents reminded us why we do this work: to restore hope and provide a foundation for growth.

We thank all who partnered with us in prayer, giving, and volunteering. Together, we’re equipping the next generation for success — one backpack at a time.
